Well, being the first day of my new project, I'm all revved up. I've made progress on the following:
#23 - I signed up for a "Lay Out A Day Challenge" at
http://www.bigpicturescrapbooking.com/. Each day in January I'm challenged to create one page layout for Joshua's scrapbook. I went to Hobby Lobby and Recollections today to stock up on supplies for this project. I already can see how difficult it's going to be to do 31 pages in 31 days. I haven't even started the layout for today, but as soon as I'm done blogging it's scrap city for me!
#34 - You're reading this, aren't you? :)
#59 - As I usually do on the first day of the month, I completed our budget for this month. We've really been good about staying within our limits this past year and Jeff and I are both committed to doing it again this year so hopefully we'll be celebrating #2 much sooner than 1001 days from now.
#72 - Tonight I broke-in a new crock pot and tried a new recipe from a very old recipe book. It wasn't bad. Jeff cleaned his plate and Joshua ate about half of his. I probably liked it the least. It was this chicken/mushroom soup/Lipton onion concoction that would NEVER be accused of being gourmet. Which is ok, but this dish just didn't suit me. I doubt I'll make it again. So hopefully I'll have better luck next time.
#98 - And finally I bought a new 8x8 album for our wedding scrapbook while I was at Recollections. It's about time I scrap booked our wedding. Hopefully I'll have it completed by our 10th Anniversary in August. And I had a great idea for it also -- at the end of the book I'm going to leave some space for our 1st, 5th, 10th, etc. anniversary pictures. Cute, huh?
So that's it. I really think I'm off to a good start. Thank you Patricia, Maryanna and Lisa for agreeing to do this with me. You are exactly what I need to keep me on point.
