Ummm...maybe 2001 days

So I totally forgot about this blog for the last few years. But many of the original list are still goals of mine so why not just continue with a slight change in the objective. I now declare this the 101 in 2001 project. Update to follow soon.

The List

1 Move D & R to Texas (this is actually 101 things in one) ~~2 Pay off all debt except house~~ 3 Install hardwood floors in living room 4 Add concrete or deck to back yard 5 landscape back yard 6 Bring F & L to Texas for a visit ~~7 Enroll Joshua in preschool and not cry on his first day~~ ~~8 Host a Christmas cookie exchange~~ 9 Organize loose photos and archive them 10 Scan my most important non-digital photos and save them on the computer or external hard drive 11 Make a pumpkin pie using real pumpkins 12 Get/build shelf to display our golf ball collection 13 Another trip to Vegas with the Binkley's and Thompson's 14 Get BMI into healthy range 15 Take a cruise 16 Take Joshua to New York ~~17 Take Joshua to Disneyland~~ 18 Visit J & D in Sutter Creek, CA 19 Hand make all family greeting cards for 1 year 20 Plant flowers in the front yard 21 Hang Christmas Lights on the House 22 Donate Blood 23 Bring Scrapbook up to date 24 Take classes to learn more about a hobby (maybe photography) ~~25 Take a yoga class~~ ~~26 Experiment with a new hair color~~ 27 Plant a tree 28 Convert home videos into digital format 29 Take a ballroom dance class 30 Box and properly store wedding dress 31 Have monthly date nights with Jeff 32 wake up at 5am everyday for a week 33 read a book once a month for a year (0/12) 34 Write in blog at least once a week (yes, this blog) 35 Participate in a 5k (even if I have to walk) 36 Take a Scrapbooking class 37 Send a "just thinking about you" email once a week for a month 38 Paint living room 39 Back up computer hard drive every quarter 40 Watch "The Sound of Music" 41 Visit Fort Worth Stockyards ~~42 Reconnect with 5 friends (thank you, Facebook)~~ ~~43 Replace all regular light bulbs with CF bulbs~~ 44 Make homemade bread 45 Clean out my clothes closet once a year 46 Donate those clothes to FFS ~~47 Participate in a bible study~~ 48 Decorate 3rd bedroom 49 Enjoy a bath once a month ~~50 Actively campaign for a Presidential Candidate (Yes, we did!)~~ 51 Play a round of golf 52 Eat out no more than twice a week ~~53 Enroll Joshua in an organized team sport~~ 54 Freeze our credit reports 55 Organize and weed through files in office 56 Fly a kite with Joshua 57 Make a 100+ things that make me happy list 58 Hold a yard sale 59 Continue budgeting each month's expenditures 60 No TV for 24 hours once a week 61 Ride a horse 62 See at least one Dallas Summer Musical each year 63 Visit a National Park with Jeff and Joshua 64 Celebrate 13th Anniversary (August 28, 2011) 65 Celebrate 14th Anniversary (August 28, 2012) 66 Celebrate 15th Anniversary (August 28, 2013) 67 Re-organize hall closet 68 Re-organize 3rd bedroom closet 69 Memorize the Nicene Creed 70 Take Joshua to a live concert 71 Make a household inventory for insurance purposes 72 Try one new recipe a month for a year 73 Go on a picnic with Jeff and Joshua (at the Arboretum?) 74 Dress up for Halloween 75 Write a letter to Joshua each year on his birthday 76 Write a letter to Jeff each year on our anniversary 77 Plant an herb garden 78 Plant tulips in front yard 79 Take a CPR class 80 Carve a pumpkin 81 Take a professional family portrait 82 Visit the Exploratorium in SF with Joshua 83 Attend a Texas Tornado Hockey Game 84 Call family more often 85 Learn the difference between Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot 86 Combine clipped/loose recipes into one book 87 Grow strawberries 88 Volunteer in a soup kitchen ~~89 Potty train Joshua~~ 90 Buy one Christmas stocking stuffer each month for Jeff and Joshua 91 Continue to read aloud to Joshua at least once per day 92 Attend a marriage retreat with Jeff 93 Wash my car once a month for the duration of this project 94 learn to play a new song on a musical instrument (any song, any instrument) note: Yankee Doodle Dandy on the phone doesn't count. :) 95 Vote in every local, state and national election 96 Have a mammogram 97 Go on a day hike with Jeff 98 Make a wedding scrapbook 99 Attend the Neiman Marcus Christmas Parade in Dallas ~~100 Donate $1 to charity for each thing on this list not completed by the end of the 1001 days~~ 101 Make a new 101 in 1001 list
